Question by ♥ NY For Life ♥: Was the state of Gujarat part of the Delhi Sultanate? (13th century CE)?
In my AP world history textbook, both of these parts of India are talked about but they really don’t make it clear if the state of Gujarat was under the Sultanate, a rival, completely separate, etc…can someone clear this up for me? Thanks!

Gujaratis was several indepentant, hindu states. The Dehli sultanate was muslim and also separate.
