Hello. I am writing a book partially set in the city of Surat and the state of Gujarat in India. My main character is well off but not really, really rich. She lives with her parents.
Please help me with a description of her home and neighborhood. I would appreciate familiar sights, smells, feelings that run in the neighborhood, stereotypical neighbors, curfew in the neighborhood, description of the house she lives in, etc. As many details as you can, please, because I am trying to create sensory language in my book.
